Dear Friends

Thanks for visiting my page

My name is Gopikrishna K. I was born in May 29th 1976 in a quite neighbourhood in chennai. Growing in chennai was lots of fun. First you have kites, nextly marbles & finally the Tops. What used to amaze me about chennai is its beaches. The beaches of chennai are probably the most cleanest of beaches in india. I used to love the afternoon cricket sessions at the beaches & at a distance admire the beautiful collaque where the golden sand stops & the glimmering blue waters begin. I used to stand in the hot afternoons looking at this in amazement of natures art. In the night, Its equally esctatic to watch the reflection of the moon in the white waters of the sea.

Moving on in life is the most difficult thing to do as we leave our homes which is build not of stones but of love. But then difficult decisions have to be taken. I moved to WIT, solapur. A quiet town & full of students. The initial days of my joining this college is still freash in my mind. It was mixed with so much pain. Firstly, i have to live alone for the first time in my life. Next, the food was horrible & finally ragging. I wouldn't have g@t along the rest of my collage if it not weren't for my ragging friends. If i look back, The best days of my life was as a student. The reason is that all the difficulties of life is hidden in the toughness of youth. In our youthful age, achieving the impossible seems possible because your mind is not corrupt from fear. As we age, we come across so many instances of nepotism, corruption & fear that we can never do what is possible as a student.

But then, it was work that gave me a new sense of confidence. A confidence that is difficult to make & break. I realised what my real interest are while working. Work is the most important thing in life as it keeps you occupied. Look around you & you will realise what iam talking. If there is something that can distract you, it is work.

Okie What else distracts me ???

I travel extensively, probably once in a month. Here are some pictures from my ordeal.
Wildlife in india is like combining spiriuality with adventure. My tryst with wildlife adventurism began when i visited Jim Corbett National Park as a chance. This hapenned on June 2002. I was amazed by the beauty of the park. It is Savanna in india. If you happen to visit Jim Corbett National Park, try to stay at Dhakila guest house. Nextly, I went to sariska, rajasthan. At sariskha, I only saw deers & the chances of seeing tigers is very less. My opinion is that sighting tigers in any of the national park is like taking a trip to the moon. It happens only once in a lifetime as they are very shy creatures. It so hapenned that there is a hot water spring in sariskha call Taal Brishqe. My opinion is that the chances of seeing leopards are more here. There is a resort that regularly ties dogs as bait to make sure you get a glimpse. Still its a little far fetched. Then I visited Bhandhavgarh national park. My honest opinion about the park is that if you want to return home telling your friends that you saw a tiger, this is the best place. Infact, you can probably see tigers hunting also. I know what people say that this is like a big zoo. Folks, disregard this. Its not like anything you have seen in your life. Watching a tiger feed on sambhar & you are 10 feet away on elephants is just a dream that will come true at bhandhavgarh. Here are some pics from this incredible land.
